№ 01·SEO audit in plain words

Not three thousand errors. Three things to do this week.

Most SEO tools hand you a spreadsheet and wish you luck. Paste your URL. We read the site and write a short reading: what is leaking, what to fix first, and a button to mark it done.

What we'd do this week

Your product pages are fine. Google cannot find them.

  1. 01Google cannot find 340 of your product pages — they are missing from the sitemap.
  2. 02Your checkout takes 5.8 seconds to respond on a phone — slow enough to lose the sale.
  3. 03The rest can wait. Do these two this week.

How it works →
01

A reading, when you ask.

Run a reading when you are ready. Every plan has a monthly allowance; paid plans can also come back on a schedule. The written reading is short — what to fix first, readable in under a minute.

Your product pages are strong. The leak is that Google cannot find 340 of them, and checkout is too slow on a phone.
02

An action plan you can actually do.

A short list, worst leaks first. Each one says what to do, roughly how long, and has a “mark as fixed” button we re-check on the next reading.

Consolidate three versions of /collections/hand-knit
A canonical tag on each variant, pointing to the root URL, fixes this in one change.
03

A chat that has read the whole site.

Ask why a page dropped, whether a title is any good, what to change on a product. It answers like a patient expert, not a salesperson.

Why did /blog traffic drop?
Two things happened. First, /blog/sustainability has a 'noindex' tag — probably a migration leftover. Second, your /blog hero images are 2–3MB each, hurting load time. Fix #1 first; #2 is a lovely weekend project.
Where we look that others do not

Five checks a desktop crawler will not spell out.

Most crawlers hand you the raw table. These start from how shops actually break, and answer in a sentence.

01

Filters that quietly multiply the shop

Google says faceted navigation and action parameters cause three quarters of reported over-crawling. We count the extra URLs each listing grows into, and say which to close.

02

Google only reads the first 2 MB

Googlebot downloads the first 2 MB of a page and ignores the rest. We measure whether your title, canonical and structured data sit past that line.

03

Whether a re-check costs you anything

A page with an ETag can answer an unchanged visit with a cheap 304. Half of AI-crawler traffic is re-fetching pages that never changed — we check whether yours can skip that work.

04

One template, not four thousand rows

Technical problems live in templates, not pages. We cluster every URL into its template and say "product template — 4,213 pages, missing alt text" instead of listing each page separately.

05

Titles that match the page

We measure how much of the title and description actually appears in the page, and flag the ones Google will rewrite.
